great planes giant extra 330l
Love building kits, thinking about buying a great planes giant extra 330l 33% as a long term project, anyone have any info on this plane as to how it flys in comparison to the modern 3d birds.
Has the model had its day or is it still worth investing time on, dont want to spend a couple of years building to find it flys like a turd compared to modern arf,s.

I had one and it had a 3w 75 in it it was a great flying bird but when i put it into a knife edge the canopy exploded I built another canopy hatch with a new canopy and shortened it up by half making it more like a 300 flew great but again i put it into a knife edge and again the canopy exploded i retired it after that so as far as worth building yes it flys very good i would try to reinforce the canopy erea
