PICS ADDED! -ID this big plane?

1 Attachment(s)
I've got 3 of these and need some parts to complete
High wing symmetric wing approx 8'
Lots of alum and steel sheet metal fixed gear and hardware
Steel box motor mount of several nicely made sheetmetal panels, spot welded and screwed together
Conventional looking airplane with built up wing and fuse
Looks like 30cc and larger would work- big and heavy trainer or utility plane
I'll get pics up shortly
Thanks
Jake

Look like modified sweet stix to me. The sheet metal is overkill, but atleast it wont get fuel soaked.

Sort of like the old Roadrunner design, but these have an airfoiled horizontal stabilizer. Might need a G62 to get this plane off the ground, ha, ha.

Looking at the wheel location raises some questions as the wheels look too far aft for a tail dragger and not far enough aft for trike leaving the thought of a swept back wing? If the wings are not swept... they were running a very far aft CG.

Combine with that, all the trouble of a lightened gear strut that then needs an improvised brace and a foiled stab on a stick and I'm left thinking these are not from a kit but are original designs.

The engine mount looks similar to those made for a Ryobi conversion. Do the engine mounts have large holes in the front for a rear carb? There is no doubt there were running gas given the tank locations.

Interesting

Tapered wing- not swept,
No intake hole in the steel box mount, they even have steel boxes for ignition module shielding
All three are exactly the same and all wood and steel parts look professionally cut / made

Ahhh I was close on the wing and given that most sticks used a constant chord... these sticks are creative.
