Maiden flight shortly

I'm going to take this extra 31% with a DA 70 for its Maiden very shortly, got to do a bit more setup when I get to the field but I am excited.

I have to say I'm truly enjoying this forum.
there is a plethora of knowledge and years of experience.

I also want to apologize if I'm doing something wrong or posting and wrong place but I'm still learning this place Thanks,Ken https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...b023db0145.jpg

Good luck! What's the wing span and who made the plane what brand?

Why not do the set up at home? Run the engine at home? Leak check the fuel system at home? Radio set up at home? Instead of doing the set up at the field? Nothing worse then going to the field and finding a minor grounding item that you waited to check until you got to the field? Then you have to pack up and take it home to fix? There should be nothing to do to the plane when you get to the field for the maiden. Should be able to fill it, start it and fly. Good luck!

I agree.

Pilots frequently get in a rush to fly and make poor decisions at the field. I like to get my models set up at home, where there is no pressure to "Get this thing in the air."
