tigerbat rc plane

I have purchased a used Tigerbat RC plan. It has an 81" wing span and a Tigre S3000 engine. It is an older plane for sure and needs to be rebuilt but I am unable to find a manual or plans. Just looking for some basics, CG, total weight, Plane has been sitting for a while. When I removed some of the covering there was a 3" dirt gobber about mid span in the fuselage. I have attached some pictures so any help would be appreciated. Below is the information I Have to date:

Tigerbat -
Kit was sold by Grant Payne from NC. 1994 - 1997
81" WS
68" Length
Weight - Not sure but it weighs out at 17 LBS now that it is rebuilt.

Engine -
Tigre S3000 - Has the OS 7D Carb on it. After reading about this engine I installed new fuel tank, large fuel lines with large clunk and a OS F glow plug. Put some Omega FAI in it and with two back flips it fired up. Ran great with good compression. Previous owner also had the large fuel lines and OS F plug. Only replaced because plane had been sitting for a long time.

Are you familiar with the TigerBat

MaxSouthoz 09-20-2018 01:22 PM

Only from Google. There's quite a bit of stuff there.

If you want to email me the photos [email protected] I'll post them up for you.

Thank You Max
Hoping someone can help with the CG.
Have it balanced out at 3 1/8" back from leading edge of wing - close to the front wing tube.

looks like the wing's leading edge is sheeted up to the spar. on the sheeting line would be a good balance point to start out at.

That would be my suggestion also. Or about 30% of MAC.

Tigerbat

I know this is an old thread but did you figure out all the issues with your tigerbat? I just bought a NIB tigerbat and was looking online for any assistance I could find and ran across this thread.
