Default TF DC3 , what batteries and props

I am nearing the completion of my TF DC3, and I am powering it with a pair of E flite power 32 brushless motors, with a pair of E flite 60 amp ESC's.

I previously had one of these models powered by two 52 four stroke engines and it was grossly overpowered, so these motors should be fine.

My question is , what size batteries are going to be best.?
A/C should weigh around 8 - 9lb (all up) when finished.
Wing area is large and not heavily loaded. I am just looking at flying scale, with a bit in reserve.

I have a multitude of 3s 2500 lipos, but wonder if I need to go to 4 cell?
Also what prop would be best for the chooosen batteries ( or visa versa )

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Darryl

Darrell how big of a prop can you swing?
Your packs would work set up in a set of paralleled packs (4 total).
A 10x8 on 3S, would more then likely give you adequate thrust and flight times, but watts per pound would be pretty low.
