Default 60 sized motors out of stock everywhere

Wow, every time I try to buy a 60 sized motor they are out of stock. I was going to order from hobbypartz but no luck, so I tried Nitro planes but no luck. I was then going to order from hobbyking, they ran out in their US warehouse while I was thinking about it for a week. So did the chinese suppliers make a one time batch of these motors or what? I was trying to avoid the cost($109) of buying an eflite power 60 from an american supplier but looks like I might be stuck. Anyone know of any more sights or when the others are suppose to get more motors?

I ordered a motor for a friend so his wife did not see it, it took 11 business days to get to me with the lowest cost shipping.

Buzz.

Do these guys rate their motors different? It seems like all of the ones you listed are up to 110 sized because they are 1600W 8 cell motors, but their weight seems to be inline with others 60 sized motors. Usually 60 sized maxes out at 7 cell and is around 1200W isn't it. I'm confused.

This motor seems inline with the exceed rc 60 sized motor, or am I wrong?

I was hopping for a 6 cell w/60amp esc setup for a top flite p51 gold edition built pretty light.

I think these are the same motors

I have the Monster Power motor, 6s 5000mah 20c swinging a 18^ APC "E" prop, Proton 60 amp ESC. Plenty of power to be a glider tug. It yanks the planes and glider up like a rocket.

I would have to say they are a little OVER rated in the power specs.
