Default .10 size shrike

I have a 10 size shrike i have been running with a os20fp
would like to know if anyone has ever converted this plane to electric.
I'm just getting into electrics and already like electric better than glow.
dont have to take windex and paper towels to clean up the glow goo.

to comete with the os20 I would use a Mega 16/15/3 turning a 7x6 APC on 8xFAUP1950

would be pretty fast on that setup

Before you get confused, Bob, the numbers will be different and will mean different things for each manufacturer... There is no standard. You need to treat them as fancy model names, like "Chevy Venture" or "Toyota Corolla;" you can't tell anything about the motor by simply looking at them.

Glow engines are based on air, and air is something that engine manufacturers have no control over. OTOH, electric motors are built from copper wires, magnets and chunks of metal. By using a different diameter wire, a different kind/size of magnet, or a different kind/amount of metal in a motor, you can change the characteristics of the motor drastically...
