Holman FW190 conversion
Need some input on an electric conversion for the Bob Holman FW190. Plans show a Webra Bully 35cc on nitro. Since it will need a ton of weight up front I was going with a Quadra 50, but I will have to ruin the cowl to fit it. I'm thinking my best bet is to go electric now to keep the clean lines. W/S is 80" and should come out around 22 lbs. I would like to get at least 7 or 8 min flight and use around a 20 or 22" prop. Can someone give me a little input? Have been reading the 3d sites but am not sure these setups would be what I need for a scale warbirds.
Thanks
Doug

Use an Electrifly 50cc Brushless motor, OS 100 amp ESC, Castle Creations Pro BEC and two 6 cell 5000mAh lipos connected in series to make a 12 cell pack. You can run a 20 x 10 or 22x8 on this setup and get about 7 mins with good batteries.

EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ELECTRIC POWERED FLIGHT

This e-book will help you.
Also, using a motor selection resource can be helpful too. The Electrifly system works well. I have had good experience with the Rimfire motors.

Here is a possible combination for your application. The calculator will let you vary the prop size, flight character, weight and other parameters. This is just one option.
