Default first build

this is my first and only build like this. I'm retired and will not be building another one like this. Its been fun and very trying for someone like me .this is a GP piper j-3 cub .40 size. The recommended engine size is a .40-.61 cubic inch 2 cycle. I'm going to use a 46 electric. any recommendations on battery placement?

Far forward as possible. I built that same kit last year, and even with a 4 stroke OS it needed weight in the nose to balance. Electric setups are lighter anyway, so expect to add weight!

Everything as far forward as possible. The short nose makes balancing difficult. You may even need to go with an extra large battery to help balance it.

Buzz.
