need help with conversion of neptune sea plane to electric
I saw all the help everybody has been giving ppl on gas to electric conversions so i thought i might ask. Would it be possible to get a 60'' WS neptune seaplane to run off of electric power. it normally runs in the .40-.46 2-stroke engine class.

That's not even a challenge.
Typical .40-size, it'll run in the 5-6 pound weight range. 100 Watts per pound for "glow" performance, so roughly 600 Watts. That's a 4S LiPoly at 40 Amps.
All that leaves is the motor. How much prop clearance do you have? That'll determine where we go with the motor. I'm thinking an AXi 2826/10 with an 11x8 or 12x7, if you've got the clearance.
