    Glow to Electric

    New to Electric is there a chart for conversion from nitro to electric . I have a OS 40 on a airboat and Cox .051 on a sailplane i would like change to electric.

    Well sort of. Figure 125-150 watts per pound. I know that really helps right

    You old o.s. 40, you can use a tacon 32, 12x6 prop, 4s battery, 60 amp esc.

    049's, close would be a park 450 or so.

    Here is a free online motor calc. It takes a little time, but you can put in different motor's, props. batteries and see what the increase or decrease will have on the power out put.
