2/3 A battery packs
I see this all the time what do the 2/3 A mean
sometimes its different #'s I'm just trrying to
get a feel for battery configurations.

2/3A is a size, using the same scale as the AAA cells in your TV remote, or the D cells in your flashlight. Just like AA is bigger than AAA, the A cell is bigger than AAA. The 2/3A cell is the same diameter as an A cell, but only 2/3 as long.
Another common cell size is SubC, which is slightly smaller than a C cell.
The numbers pertain to model numbers of the individual cells. A "CP2400SCR" is a Sanyo model number. Unfortunately, there is no standard. Sometimes the letter/number sequence indicates the size and mAh rating of the cells, usually it doesn't. You kinda have to remember the cells' specifications, but we do that with cars all the time. Nothing about "Chevy Venture" tells you that it's a minivan, yet you know it's a minivan, for example.
