Default Yellow Aircraft P-38 Conversion

Need help converting YA P-38 from Gas to Electric. Would like to convert and get same power and flight times. Was going to use 2 G-45, 45cc gas engines. Can someone help me come up with motor, batteries, and speed controller to convert? Also gear box if needed. Also would new Lithium Batteries be better than Ni-cad?
Sorry, here are the specs of the P-38.
Specs:
Length:......................72"
Wing Span:................100"
Weight:.....................28-32 lbs

Recommended Engine: Supertigre 3000 , Moki 1.8, 2.1,
OS BGX, Zenoah G-38, etc.

Thanks for the help

Doug

Moving to Glow to Electric Conversions...

When you find out how much it's going to cost, especially if you go with lithium cells, you'll probably think the G45s are cheap. Even not knowing anything about the plane, I'd estimate the power system to be in the $3000 range, especially since you want both the performance AND the duration of gas power.

I'm sure Tom Cimato of MaxCim could hook you up with the motors. He's the grand poobah of giant brushless electric motors. Aveox has a couple of big new motors as well from the looks of their website.

To continue this discussion, and perhaps inspire some input, could you please post the specifications of the plane?
