Default Conversion using Mega 16/15/3

Hi. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what pinion and what gearbox/gear ratio I could use to convert a Midwest Cherokee .40 using a Mega 16/15/3. Is this possible? Feasable?

Default RE: Conversion using Mega 16/15/3

Only if you just want to taxi.

While in theory, all electric motors are capable of infinite power, in reality the limitations of the materials used determine the maximum power a motor can handle. A Mega 16/15/3 simply cannot handle enough power to fly what is probably a 6lb plane, even with maximum cell count and current draw.

The Mega 16/15/3 is more suited to smaller planes in the 2 to 2-1/2 pound range. .15 powered conversions.
