Default ME-109E glow to electric (Has anyone done it)

Hi all,

I have house of balsa ME-109E kit that's been sitting doing nothing for long enough. My plan is to build it for an electric configuration.
Specs are...
w/s=36"
w area=216 square inches
lenght=28.5 "
weight=22-28oz
Engine=TD .05 with 2 chan. or .10 3-4chan.
w loading=14.6-18.6oz/square ft.

What I have accumulated so far in electric hardware ...

(1) speed 400 long can with 5.5 x 4 prop installed on it and (2) 6 x 4 spare ones.
(1) 370 geared motor with a 10 x 4.5 prop which might give you an idea of the gear ratio on which I don't have a clue.
(1) E-Flite 16amp ESC bec for 6-10 cell
(1) 8 cell 1100 MAH AAU NiCad. battery

I just wondered if one of these 2 motors would be enough or too much to power my ME109. If so, which one ? I was thinking the 400, but I know zip. even after all the reading and RTF kits browsing to compare. If you think either one would do the job, would the 16amp ESC be enough or too much? How about the Battery?

Thanks
