Default 5mm to 1/4"-28 prop adapter?

I know there are 5mm motor shaft to 6mm prop shaft adapter, but I really need 5mm to 1/4-28.

does anyone know where such thing can be found?

You know, I can't say as I've ever seen one. The prop adapter for the Great Planes GD600 gearbox is 1/4-20, but I don't know if the cup end is 5mm. Most every other prop adapter I've seen is metric, which is okay because I have a metric prop reamer and most electric props have metric holes in 'em, or at least metric bushings.

Any specific reason you need 1/4"? Perhaps you can get a 7mm and run a 1/4" die over it to rethread it.

I don't think I'm able to make thread dead center on the shaft.

resulting in probably excessive vibration.

Yeah, you're probably right.

So, is this for a prop? I'm guessing not, because you need a specific size. If it were for a prop, just go with the flow and buy the nearest metric size (6mm), then ream the prop hub to fit.

Can you tap out the receiving end for the metric threads? Some careful reaming with a drill and a 7mm tap?
