Default Monocoupe from Hobby Lobby (HUGE)

I finally broke down and get this plane (after winning 900 in a photo contest online).

It's a nice kit, but very different from the one pictured on their site and in reviews. ?

Well built, but the instructions are quite poor. (English translation by someone who doesn't know English) ;-)

Totally devoid of any battery, electrical or power setup instuctions. I picked up the large AXI (I forget the number 4120? 16 cell brushless) and the axi motor mount for it. (but where to mount it on the front firewall?) anyone have any ideas?

how far to extend it out from the firewall? Where to place the batteries. I'd love to link up with someone who has build and flown a monocoupe. I also have no idea of control throw amounts.

thanks!

Hi Ron,

I moving this thread to the glow to electric conversion forum...since that is what it is. Perhaps this is why you are initially lost. The Bohemia Models Monocoupe is a glow plane that has been sucessfully converted to electric power several times.

Post some pictures, if you can. We'll try to help out.
