Convert my old Cox REcon to electric?
I want to convert my old Cox REcon to electric. It has a dragon fly rc cox engine and a three channel micro RC system. It flies great need to convert to electric. Possibly a brushless motor and lipo cells. Any suggestions?

You can probably use a PJS 3D 550 motor to power the Recon well with a 9" - 10" APC e-prop. The PJS 550 uses a 3-cell Lithium pack and the PJS550R uses a 2-cell pack. You can find them at [link=http://www.hobby-lobby.com/brushless_external.htm]Hobby Lobby[/link].
For that size motor and plane, either a Thunder Power 1320mAh pack or 2100mAh pack should be fine. The 2-cell packs are less expensive so you might option for the PJS550R motor. You can find Thunder Power packs [link=http://www.hobby-lobby.com/thunderpower.htm]here[/link].
