tiwnny conversion
I have an sport biplane tiwnny for 0.15, 0.20 engine glow. This plane have an span 100 cm; wing area 34 dm2; weight 700 gr without motor batteries and speed control , I whis to convert to electric motor. Someone have converted this model?
Can i use a geared 2,5:1 geared 600 motor class

You'll want to start with a 10-cell NiCd or NiMH battery, or a 3S LiPoly. It'll weight around 1500g by the time you're done, so you need about 300 Watts. On 10 cells, that's a 30A draw, a little too much for a Speed 600 IMHO. Something like a Kyosho Endoplasma or other modified car motor would be better suited to that kind of power. You could always go brushless...
Gear ratio will be different depending on which motor you get, but a 16-turn like an Endoplasma should do fine with 4.6:1 and an 11x7 or 11x8 prop.
