OV-10 Giant Scale ARF- Conversion
Got a call this moring that my latest Glow-to-Electric conversion project was ready for the Motor System.
The model is the OV-10 GIANT SCALE ARF for Hobby Hangar in Melbourne, Florida. http://www.hobbyhangar.com/test/acc.htm
This is an excellent ARF design and uses Twin Motors and Retractable Landing gear, I am very excited about this conversion, since I have only worked on twins up to 10 lbs.
This conversion has already been started By Mr. Bob Ruff (Bruff). Bob has expertly installed the radio gear, the retracts, and the wiring harness. I plan to highlite the electric portion of the conversion, however I will detail the radio and retract installation as time permits.

RE: OV-10 Giant Scale ARF- Conversion
Hi,
good to know I am not alone doing foolish things...
I am building the same plane from scratch (mich uravitch plans), it's like building a trainer ;o)
Motors are plettenberg HP 370/40/a3 with shulze future 32.55 driving tripale contra propellers master airscrem 16"*8"
Power provided presently by 4 sets of 12 NiMh 3300; moving to LiPo when budget wirr permit...
Retracts are spring airs.
There are 12 servos with a lot of Y-cables.
And two gyros (ailerons and rudder) just because I had them...
Thinking about german OV-10B[Z] with EDF on top.
Keep me informed about your experience
Regard

I've got the same plane but with fixed gear, I was in the proses of installing OS 91 FX engines in it when I got bit by the "VOLT" bug.
I am VERY interested as to the power system you select for your Bronco and will be watching with great interest.
Thanks,
Chuck
