Default converting .25 Great Planes Combat Corsair help

Great planes has a corsair that has 43" WS, weighs 2.5-3lbs ready to fly (gas) at 17-20oz/sqft. I have a great planes Super sportster at 3.25lbs at 19.5oz/sqft with 48" WS. I wanted to use the same 550 motor and 2.1:1 gear box from super sportster in the Corsair. 3 cell 2100mah Thunder power pack in the Super sportster makes it scream and easily flies at 1/2 throttle with stock 12X10 prop. Could I use this same set up in the Corsair? Is there a bigger (wingspan) Corsair or P51 out there (3lb) that I could use this set up in? Only downside to this combat corsair is no landing gear and I'd like bigger.

Carl
