Default AKM SU27 Flanker Conversion

I am looking into a winter project and this is what I chose to build. http://ak-models.com/su27.htm This will be my first electric and I need some info on the conversion. I love the looks of the plane but not the cylinder and muffler hanging out the front end. I would go turbine... But the wife would kill me spending that kind of money. I want the plane to have the performance of the glow engine so any info would greatly help.. Thanks.

You might try Hobby Lobby (hobby-lobby.com). Check the "glow to electric conversion" area for "other aircraft converted". Should be able to get an idea from that list.

It won't be an inexpensive project!

Good Luck!
