Default Do I need a UBEC on this conversion?

Can anyone shed any light on the power setup for a plane I just won on ebay.
It is a 4 channel 25 size trainer that I was going to convert to electric.
I am not sure if I will need a servo for each aeliron,or if I will get away with just one,and not sure if I will get away with HS81mgs,or will need to go full size servos.
I was thinking of putting a medium size Hacker outrunner in it that I allready have,as well as a 60amp esc,and either 3S or 4S Lipos, basically stuff that I allready have.
Thing is,do I need a separate power supply for the reciever and servos, such as a separate battery pack,or perhaps a UBEC?

Cheers,
Bleary.

Not you again!

Glad to see you're getting close to getting it together...

You should be able to use HS-81mg servos (3) in it. It will probably use aileron torque rods and one servo for the ailerons.

That is the same setup I have on my 40 size setup with no problems... A trainer really doesn't put that much stress on the servos so you don't have to worry about a UBEC.

This will help keep it light too.

Yeah I know,I got a bit sidetracked with other projects, but I finally bought the plane for a good price,so it is all systems go.
Sounds like I can use all the gear I allready have, which is good.Looking forward to it.
How is your conversion going? Still flying well?
Cheers,
Bleary.

Haven't gotten to fly it again... been busy with reviews and other projects...

I did get it converted to accept the camera mount, so will soon be able to test it out witht eh next size prop... Should be FUN!

Keep us informed how it goes... maybe on the other thread...

Okay will do,when it arrives next week hopefully...being Easter and all,I should have everything at home to put her together.
If she flies well, some photography may be a good project for this setup.
Cheers,
Bleary.
