CMP Giles-202 50 --Battery hatch?
Hi!
Anyone got some tips & trix how to make the batteries easy accesible in the CMP Giles 202 50 size. I have read a lot of threads saying that i need to move everything as far forward as possible to avoid it being tailheavy. I have search the forums but haven't found this specific model being electrified.
Any advice is welcome.
Kind regards
/Hans

RE: CMP Giles-202 50 --Battery hatch?
yes i have a 202 from CMP and is a electric plane, what i did was to make a switch with a dean connector using a female connected to the positive wire from the ESC (one side from battery the other side to the ESC) and use the male to act as a switch(like a jumper), i carved a hole just above the receiver switch and placed the female there, that way i dont have to take the wing off to disconnect the battery, just pull the male off and no power will flow to the ESC.

Hello badloser,I would like to hear more about your conversion to E-Power of the CMP 202, what motor combo etc. Could you also post a few pixs? Matt
