Default SIG Tri Star

Anyone own an electric one? I was thinking of making this one electric. I have a .25 for it but was thinking quieter.

Mr. Mugen: (old Honder rider)

That thing is just begging for a good electric setup. Would not worry about getting the right gear for it, just find a motor equal to the planes weight in thrust. As a old two wheel mx'r (really old) its fun to see someone from around the same background into enjoying RC. My last Honda was a 82 450 that stalled every time you braked hard even with the aftermarket flywheel. Sold it cheep after going down while leading a race at Spillway Park (deep sand), watched all the guys pass me before I could get the thing fired up again. Was fast though! Enjoy

Well dang, a stalling bike is not a good option for racing...haha. I used to race my 97 Cr250 and then my quad...might still race the quad.... Back on topic. I think I am going to try nitro first....then electric if it is still in one piece [X(] I will keep you posted either way. Kevin

I have a Tri Star I'm building from MIB kit I got from the Internet (before eBay days!!). Will be 500-600 watts on a 4 cell 2500 mah batt.

Nice build thread here from another Tri Star flier:
