Not enough information here to properly troubleshoot so I'll make a few suggestions.

1) Be certain the props are off the motors for testing.

2) The Jeti-77 is an Opto ESC so it needs both power to the ESC from the receiver, battery pack, or UBEC. It also needs the main flight pack connected.

3) Try reversing the channel direction on the Spectrum radio.

4) If it is an Advanced PLUS ESC, plug an Rx. battery into the programming card after first connecting the flight pack.

Good luck!

it works! you dont cut the red wire and it works. i am amazed that the esc can handle that current. i have 6v for rx and 8s for the motors. I replaced the cut y and the motors spooled right up! nothing got warm at all found a site explaining opto escs and they need rx power. im planning on going 7s each motor 14s total on the plane

Tim,

Yes, the Jeti-77 is an Opto ESC so there is no BEC to disable. In fact, it needs to be powered from the receiver battery.

Good luck!

greg electicalc says if i run 45 5000mah each side i will get a 3 min flight. if i go up to 6s i get 8 min and up to 8s each side i would get 14 min. i have a limited size area for the lipos in the b-25 and made a hatch. I can comfortably get both 4s batts in and know i could get 2 additional 2s 5000ma in as they only are 1/2 in thick. the 3s are .8 inch. if you have electricalc or motocals could you run these numbers. packs are 4s 5000mah prodigy packs i each side axi 4140-16 jeti opto 77 esc. wt around 18-19lbs fully loaded. span 88,5 area 1036 loading 38-42
