50" LIONS CHRISTEN EAGLE HELP?
Hey All, I have been flying for quite some time I have several Aerobatic models that I fly that are powered by Thunderpower 2100 15c packs. Here is my question. I'm going to convert a 50" wingspan Lions model christen eagle to electric the model by itself without servo's weighs under 6 lbs. I'm figuring 8 lbs. ready to fly weight. What electric power seup would you guys recomend and can I use two of my 2100 15c packs put together for 22.2 volts 4200mah. and what type of flight time can I expect. I don't care if it 3d's but I wan't a nice strong vertical. Any help would be great. Thanks

If your batteries are 11.1 volts @ 2100 ma you can put them in series for 22.2 volts @ 2100 ma or in parallel for 11.1 volts @ 4200 ma. Norm

your battery is just to small for performace your looking for.
auw 8lbs you 'll need a 1200-1400 watt setup,150 watts per lb.
sky shark r/c would be good place to look.
as for your batt. 2100 x2 in par is 4200 which is only 63 amp which is ok but 11.1 is to weak
same packs in ser is good voltage but only 31.5 amps to weak my planes that size are 5000mah x 11.1x 2 in ser 10 min flights
