Converting Hobbico 4star trainer to electric

<span style="font-size: larger"><span style="font-family: Arial">I just finished conversion ofour clubs Hobbico 4 star trainer 62"wingspan to electric. It came to me stripped less motor propor model number of plane. I installed a HIMAX 3516-840 motor and 12"-6 prop with a 54A ESC. I haven't tried this out yet. Does anyonehave motor sizing experienceon conversions like this ?. I just did some math to get this but don't have charts for conversion and have yet to locate them. Can someone send me to where I can find a conversion chart ?

Thanks,
Ted

RE: Converting Hobbico 4star trainer to electric

This is a followup of my conversion of our Hobbico 4 star trainer. It flew almost perfect first time out. I had to shift it's battery forward extending almost to the firewall to add a little to the nose weight. Several of our experienced pilots took it up and wouldn't land it until the battery was out of power. We now have a very quiet, dependible electric powerd trainer worth the effort to convert. Plenty of power and neither the motor or battery was even slightly warm.
