World models voodoo 46

I recently ordered a world models voodoo 46. 57.5" and I'm wanting to do use an Eflite power 46/52 or rimfire 46/55 with a castle ice lite 100 on a 5s or 6s 4000-5000mah lipo. How does this setup sound? How are the retracts on this arf? And tips on the build or help with the conversion? What about prop sizes and amp draw?

How do you calculate the watts per pound ratio? I'm looking for 275-300 watts per pound. Wanting all out speed.

Ohm's Law: amps X volts = watts. 50a X 22.2v = 1,110 watts. Download "DriveCalc" free online and take the time to learn how to use it. It will be invaluable in choosing/modifying power sustems.

You can use the Tacon 46 with a 5s 13X6 prop for about 7 pounds of thrust. Upping the prop to 13x8 puts you just over the amp rating of the motor but thrust goes up to 9 pounds.

The calc program is close. I have tested the setups with a watt meter and found the result to be around the 10% mark or so.

Here is the calc program

I was thinking about running an 10x10 or 11x9 ..... I'm looking for speeds of 110 on 5s-130mph on 6s. I figured the smaller prop would unload the motor as far as amp draw goes, plus it will unload 10-15% in the air?
