P82 Mustang: Need help selecting 2 electric motors and ESCs

Hi there
I was given a scratch built P82 (double fuse Mustang) with nearly 2m wing span. It will have retracts and flaps besides aileron, rudder and elevator.
I guess the all up weight would be around 5kg.
There is no plan or any info that came with the bits and now I am looking at fitting it out with two electric motors and matching ESCs.

Can someone suggest how to select a suitable motor and ESC? Do you go by weight per kg (or lbs for you Americans:cool:) or thrust relative to weight? Can I just double each motor's performance given that the P82 is a twin??
Any ideas or help with suitable websites or similar twin aircraft are much appreciated,

cheers

Hobbyking have a War birds P-51 OLD CROW wingspan 110mm(43.32 inches) weight 1220 grams(2.68lbs)
motor 750KV
ESC 35A
2200mah 3S(11.1volts) Lipo battery.
So with two each of the above, will get you flying.
Look for a motor and ESC which will handle 3S and 4S batteries, cheap way increasing speed!!!

EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ELECTRIC POWERED FLIGHT
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7100376/tm.htm

See chapter on sizing power systems.

But basically you have an 11 pound all up weight estimate. At 100 watts/pound that would suggest two 550 watt motors. See the on-line book for more.
