Kyosho Corsair Conversion
I am in the process of converting a Kyosho F4U corsair and would like some suggestions for powering the plane. I am currently planning an AXI 4130-16 with two 3s2p ThunderPower 4200 packs in series. Is this too much for the 40 size corsair? I know it has worked well on the 60 corsair from Hanger 9. Any help and guidance would be great ! Thanks !

RE: Kyosho Corsair Conversion
12cells would power this plane well. Outrunners like voltage better then current, so you get the needed 600watts at only 28 Amps.
I use a geard Hacker for a simular plane, running 3 or 4s and 65Amps instead to reach the 600watts ;) Edit: You might even want to look at the new 3200mAh cells for 6s1p. kokam has one out now I beleve. dunno the weight, but should be a bit lighter then a 4200mAh TP |
