saito 45 equivilent
 

I'me looking to convert a sport model which flew on a saito 45 to electric, could some one give me some details as to which electric motor would be equivilent ie kv rating, lipo cells, amps, ect. The model is tad over 4lb and the prop can't be any bigger than 12"

Gaf ... look at something for the 3S or 4S set up. You have tons of motors to look into such as AXI 2826, DualSky 3548 etc. Use those as a baseline ... most importantly what sort of plane is it and what sort of flying do you want to do? That is most important.

I've gone for a Hyperion ZS3025-08 on 4s 4000mah lipo, not flown yet as waiting for the battery's to arrive
