Super Tigre Muffler Bolts thread size?
Can anyone tell me what size the muffler bolts are on an old style Super Tigre .75?
One vibrated out on me the other day..and I have the other, but can't find it in the hardware store.
This is the S series I guess..with a separate front bearing housing, and the crankcase tapped to recieve the header bolts.
I'm debating drilling all the way through in order to put a nut on, but I'd like to give the current set up another shot. I think it was somewhere in between 3 and 4 MM.
Anyone know where I can source these? I'm having a hard time at the local Ace.

The new ones are http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFY16&P=Z

Two 3.5x40mm machine thread screws (threaded 26mm)

But the problem is that you have a S75K and the above screws are for the G75. The difference being that the new ones thread into the muffler and the old ones threaded into the engine
I had a S61K that someone had drilled out the stack on the engine for the new screws. It worked OK but that gets mighty thin out there.

I've had good luck with www.rtlfasteners.com for metric hardware.
A buddy and I got together and ordered a variety of your typical metric engine bolts, but nothing in the 3.5mm size, or I'd send you a couple.

Thanks for the help...
3.5 MM sounds correct, now my only hope is the pitch is the same. Wy8e you're right..there's not much material there and what's there is fragile..
