those are motors, not engines...

Go tell it to Motor Trend, unless they are now exclusively catering to all electric "cars" like the Volt. Also, does Motor City only build electric cars?

Happy Hobbydays,

Sincerely, Richard

It is heart warming to see how few OSs are on the list. Many that are of the older models. Are OS engines cheap enough that there is no need to save up (wish for)?

I think there is hope for the glow segment of the hobby. I hope this is an indication to manufactures to bring suitable products to market, or at least market their products properly and I don't mean price point.

This is the point of this thread , to gauge what the market wants?

All the best,
Konrad

I won't be getting a new engine this Christmas[&o][]. I was leaving work one night last week and slammed into a large chunk of ice (iceberg size) and tore up my car. Cost me $500 to repair. There goes a nice engine!!!!

You know, I have never heard a better sound from any engine then the Moki 250 and 400! The next best was the Merlin in the Spitfire!

Never seems to fail, something like this always happens at Christmas time! I also have allot hitting me all at once right now, I drive for a living and have always seemed to get a ticket right around Christmas time. This year I am driving 10 miles under speed limit and making sure I stop completely at the stop signs, Doing everything not to get one between now and the first of the year!

I guess someone else will be getting a special Christmas gift from my car repair or your possible traffic ticket.

A new Jett 50 for my new Kougar would have been nice, but because I am cheap I bought me 2 new JBA .56 engines from Kangke. I always liked my SK engines pretty well which are made by the same manufacturer I beleive, but they are more for torque. The JBA engines tend to be a bit higher reving then the SK's from what I have read about them. I allready put one new JBA 56 on my scratch built NJ One Design profile and another new one is to stick on the nose of my Kaos.....it should be heaps of fun. Today (Dec 20th) is my birthday.....so I bought one for my birthday and one for Christmas 5 days later.

Sounds like you are a good grandpa. I've been really lucky to have a job this past year here in Michigan. The previous year was bad for me. So, maybe things are getting better.

P.S. The cops were swarming the roads last night.

God bless you Hairy. Hope you and your family have a brighter new year. There are alot of good and descent hard working folks who are really having a rough time in this terrible economy....so lets all pray things turn around soon for our fellow americans that are hurting during this Christmas time.

May I ask why so much trouble with the law. I've haven't had a ticket in 25 years. I drive over 25K miles a year, and a lot of this is in California!
