ROSSI Engines and Nitro?
I have a NIB Rossi 53 and 45, They both come w/ a head shim to install for nitro fuel use. How much nitro can they run on, I normally use 15% nitro fuel, is this too much?

RE: ROSSI Engines and Nitro?
Put the head shims in and no more than 5% nitro. These engines were designed to run very well on FAI fuel (no nitro) and will be a problem at higher nitro levels. I've had several and they are great engines and run well at low nitro levels.

I can only speak for the 45 but it runs just fine on 10% with the extra shim in. Heck, try the 15% with the shim and see what happens it might surprise you.
