i recently come across an os .21 vg. It appeared new but was gummed up . Idisassembled to find what appeared to be grade 4 preservative covering the internals. The connecting rod oil hole was facing the backplate. Iwould think it would be facing the draw. Does anyone know? Idont have a manual for this so if anyone knows where i can find one or info on this motor i would appreciate the link.

Ibelieve it to be new because there are no signs of wear, even in the crankcase. The sleeve has no scarring either. Ijust want to keep it as a backup for my revo if i can figure out this rod thing.

The connecting rod orientation is often determined by the relief on one side for the radii of the crank pin fillet. The other side is plain.
