Need Help Identifying OLD Engines
A fellow modeler who is bit older has asked me to sell a few of his engines for him. This stuff is before my time and I wonder if any of you can help me figure out what they are so I can list them properly.
The first engine has a indian head on the side but no other markings to denote manufacturer or size, looks to be about .35 size.
Second up are three small engines, about .049 or smaller and they all appear to be diesels as I don't see a glow plug on any of them.
Last up is what I think is a Holland Hornet but I'm not sure. Size appears to be about .60.
Thank you for your help!

RE: Need Help Identifying OLD Engines
The three little engines look like they might be K&B Infant engines. They have a glow plug in them.
K&B originally made it a .010 but it didn't run, so they increased the displacement to .020 and it worked then.
Later they came out with a .035 and a .049 version too. But I can't tell from the pics what displacement you have,
There were some oddball glow plugs in the past where the glow plug clip pressed down on the tip instead of hooking in on a notch in the tip.\
The guess the idea was that the glow plug tip was less prone to being damaged like that.

RE: Need Help Identifying OLD Engines
The first one is an OK manuf. "Mohawk Chief" .29 (same company as the OK Cub series 1/2A sized engines ) made in Herkimer New York...the blue nosed ones were made in 1950.
The three small ones are K&B Infants (.020 )
Is one of them slightly larger than the other two or is that just a trick of the camera angle? (might be a .035? )
The Hornet .60 was a hot engine for it's time...(late 30's - early 40's IIRC ) it's missing the ignition timer components though.
