I have lots of 2-strokes, .020 to .90, but it's the .09 to .25 that get the most use. Once I get up around .40 size I'm likely to switch to 4 stroke. But I do like my .90 with a Pitts muffler. Maybe it just depends on the muffler. My Enya .30s are painfully loud with the stock muffler, but I liked them when I switched to a Macs one piece. The smaller engines sound great, but the muffler still matters.

lol guys i didnt think i would get this many responses. I made this as a bit of a joke with everyone has a "club" for everthing lol. Anyway we can keep it going. I have around 55-60 two strokes, 10-11 4S. i would still like to get a good one stroke engine though. i would liek to have one of those 35cc ones that make 10 hp at 9,000 or 25 hp at 20,000

RCU's Glow engine forum is actually a large "Club 2-stroke" when you look closer.

I'd say 99% of us cut our teeth on 2-strokes as first engine.

The 2-stroke is the simplest engine to operate. I started with R/C Cars which are almost ALL 2-stroke. I'm quite familiar with gas engines, but glow engines are far more fascinating IMO. I will own a 4 stroke, but not for awhile. My smallest 2-stroke is a .20 car engine and the largest is a .90 aero engine. Each engine has its own distinct sound. I love it.

I agree with the Glow engine forum being "club 2-stroke". There are definitely more people running 2-strokes than 4-strokes that I see. I might get a diesel sometime also.
