Mac's scotsman mufflers?
I found these on the Macs Site and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? I am looking for a lightweight muffler option for a 120ax but I know the standard Macs mufflers usually cause a loss of power or no gain. Are these the same just louder a d unpainted?

The Scotsman in an unpainted, un-baffled one-piece muffler. They are significantly louder than the regular MACS or stock muffler.
The regular macs does increase power over stock. Not as much as a tunable pipe would but a respectable amount over a stock muffler.
You are mis-informed if you believe the macs regular mufflers cause a loss of power.

The Mac's mufflers generally perform better than the OEM mufflers. There are exceptions of course but usually the mufflers that work better are tuned types that perform really well. The one piece black mufflers have a baffle inside and the unpainted Sportsman's mufflers don't have the baffle inside.
I have several of the one piece black ones in use and they work quite well.

The Scottsman has a little less back pressure to it, since it doesn't have the internal baffle, so it would offer more performance. But it is a little more noisy though.
