Ok so im sure you all have heard of the Chinese jba engines. The new version is the f series. Himodel sells whats called the jba 56abc and 56ar here http://www.himodel.com/engines/JBA_F...ine_56ABC.html and here http://www.himodel.com/engines/JBA_F...gine_56AR.html I know what abc is and experience tells me that AR would be ringed. I can not find any description of what these designations mean? Is this just a mistake and both engines identical? Or is this really a jba 56 ring and non ringed abc? thank you

I have two .56 ABC engines. I also saw the AR designation, and like you, wonder what it means. It was out of stock when I looked. No other info.

Yes one is ringed and other is ABC type same engine.I am using all ABC type of JBA s for many years and soo happy with them.I have one ringed 56 JBA but old version,not F type.Power is a bit less than ABC.
I recommend you to have ABC type.No need to fly less power.ABC type JBA s great.I have one, warped head and yet flies like hell.Screams like hell also when trying to turn by hand.

Hi Martin,true, they were the makers of Jen engines but Im not sure still they do.Ringed one is newly on market and as you said ringed type of ABC 56.I guess they are making those engines to NGH for 9CC gas and use rest of them for themselves as ringed glow.
