Default Need Help With Enya 53-4C

My buddy crashed a plane equipped with an Enya 53-4C four stroke and the header came out (stripped) out of the cylinder head. What options do we have to re attach it? JB weld wont work because its aluminum.
I am thinking the following:
Auto muffler shop (spot welds?)
Alumi-seal (like JB Weld but for aluminum?)
Run it without header and muffler (just richer to compensate for lack of pressure?

Thanks

Remove head and send to Clarence Lee. He did one for me on a big Saito and it was excellent.

Thanks Jeffie, but my buddy was recently laid off so its kind of hard for him to spend much at this time...he just wants to at least be able to fly.

Thanks

Chemical adhesives are going to fail from the heat and vibration I am sure. Welding sort of wrecks it for Clarence if you decide to ever have it fixed permanently. Perhaps a trade for a good running complete engine? You could try Bruce at brucercengines.com.

The costs to send the head to Mr. Lee likely will be less than a new head. Either a new head or a repair of the old head with a brass insert or Helicoil are the only proper permanent repairs that will last. Perhaps it's worth a small expense on a friends part to help the guy out?

New head is about $58/shipped from the 'bay: http://ebay.com/itm?itemId=221357353880&roken=HI5G5U

shtterman sells all sorts of Enya parts; I buy from him when I need stuff.

p.s. The engine will run fine without the muffler in place, but it will be messy. I have a 60-4C I run on just a header and no tank pressure. Runs good.

I can confirm that the Enya 53 will run fine without muffler pressure. I have one and I run it that way.
