Muffler Question re OS 120 AX
Hi All,
Has anyone used a inverted pitts style muffler on this motor?
Several years ago , I tried and ran into problems with backpressure ( lack of it ) using one of these mufflers. Could never tune the engine properly.
Are there people using them without problems ? What particular brand ?
Thanks
Cheers

Hi,
Maybe the inverted muffler is not called a pitts style. ? The slimline Q I just looked up is for a side mounted engine not an inverted engine?. I need the latter. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Check your tank location w.r.t the carb. OS 2c engines are very susceptible to being untunable when carb is below the tank centreline when inverted. Had a similar issue with a 75 ax some time back
