Default using zenoah g38 mount for supertigre 3000

Hello

I want to replace a g38 with a st 3000. I do not want to weaken the firewall by drilling more holes. Can I just use longer backplate screws and redrill holes on the g38 mount to suit the st 3k? TOWER sells a backplate mount but the hole spacing is clearly different and using that defeats the purpose of what i want to achieve. This would be stronger than what i am considering, however.

Thanks for any insights.

Ranga.

I suggest that you plug the holes in the firewall with dowels, and use a suitable mount for your engine.
