All kinds of things come with little plastic or
rubber cups over the ends (like curtain rods,
etc.) You probably have some around the
house now, and just need to notice them.

Once the crankcase is vented and "dry", I'll use foam ear plugs to plug the carb and muffler outlets. You don't want to do this right after shutting the engine down as the residual fuel in the crankcase won't evaporate and could cause bearing problems. I know this from firsthand experience.

I just twist a piece of paper towel into a cone and put it in the carb. I used to use plastic caps but kept losing the few I had that fit. Paper towels are always available.

If I remember right, Great Planes sells a small package of assorted carb caps in different sizes. They are rubber tube caps. You should be able to find them from a number of sources. They make them in numerous different sizes.

You can also find them at an Ace Hardware.

Most auto parts stores will have vacuum line caps that should work.

I also use foam earplugs as I have a unlimited supply.
