Default Older Saito .40 not 40A Info.

Was the earlier .40 with inclosed valve train and the down-facing carb intake of the similar size and weight of the older .45, 50 and .56? Overall impressions from owners welcome also.

This is similar but with rear facing intake, it's a very smooth and reliable engine. I changed it to verticle. Also, it sits in the same foot print as the .45, .50, .56 and .62. It flies an RCM 40 with no problem turning a Graupner 12x5.

Have quite a few of the above mentioned engines over the years, smooth and reliable.
