Can I use a Rexel CDI with mechanical advance?

I have a Saito 270T that came with a mechanical advance linked to the throttle. The CDI was removed as it has glow plugs. I have a REXEL twin CDI I can use. Will this work or will the auto fight with the mechanical? What would I have to do other than setting timing?

I found out it is a Synchro-Spark fromCH ignitions
