ASP .52 Muffler - What Screws Should I Use?
Good Morning. I recently purchased an OS .55 AX at a swap meet, but it didn't have a muffler, and I understand OS no longer sells a muffler for this engine, at least through Tower. A friend suggested I try an ASP .52 muffler for this engine. I got the muffler, but there are no screws with it. What kind of screws should I use with this muffler? I tried some 3mm screws, but they didn't fit. Any advice here would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Harry Sanchez

Hi Harry,
I measured the screw on my OS 55 the best I could and got a .5 mm thread pitch and 3 mm bolt diameter. the length of the bolt is 3 and 1/2 cm from shoulder. Hope this helps. the length could be different for a different muffler of course

If the 3 mm bolt does not fit, perhaps it has been resized, you may have to go to a local hardware store and try different sizes until on fits, then you will know what size you are after.
