You would thing that OS would send the new needle valve assy. to all registered owners of the "old" .91. They have made enough money from us.

So, is the new needle valve solving all the problems with
this engine ?... Would be interesting to hear from someone
that was having problems and changed to the new needle

I recently bought my first OS, a .46LA, it has the new needle assembly and works perfectly. Also, you fellas that have the problematic .91s can replace the needles with a MDS remote needle, they stand up to crankcase pressure when using a Cline regulator and do not leak. And they have nice secure bracket that goes on two of the backplate bolts. That's only one of many sources of remote needles available.
