Default Thunder Tiger GP40 Manual

Hey everyone... I got a plane from a friend, complete with engine and radio... Only problem is that there is no manual or paperwork at all for the engine! That wouldn't be a big deal to me, but the engine has been sitting for somewhere around 10 years, as best as my friend can remember. I have managed to find the exploded parts diagram for the engine, but no luck so far on the manual. Anyone have a PDF or a scan or something? I've been looking all over the web, and can't find anything!

Thanks,
Jeff

Anyone have any ideas? I went ahead and started exploring last night and tore down the whole engine... Got everything cleaned up and it's almost back together. I would still like to have a copy of the manual if anyone has it though!

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi JFoust,
I just came across your post.

Could it be that you actually have a GP-42? I have a manual for one of those, and my engine is marked as a GP-42 as well. I'll be glad to send you a xerox of the manual and a separate parts sheet, if that will help you.

My engine is only about 2 years old, so I don't know if they updated that engine or not. Check to see if your engine actually has a 42 on it instead of a 40.

Hey Bob... It's the GP40 for sure... It's been sitting in my friend's garage for something like 10 years now. The 42 manual might work out ok though. I just looked at the engine and it looks to be about the same as the 40 as far as I can tell. Anyone else know how similar these two are?

Thanks,
Jeff

OK

Send me your address and I'll send you what I have... it's a short manual and a separate parts list.
send the email to n1edm@comcast.net
