Default 2 Stroke (4 Cycling)

Not sure that is a good name for it.. but just breaking in my 52 2 Stroke, runs at high RPMs just great, seems like there is a point when you reduce the throttle setting towards idle that is starts to make a sound similar to a 4 stroke or bumping sound internally. It sounds like it not firing at every opportunity. It is an ASP 52 with an OS8 plug.

I am not sure what this is..and hope someone might enlighten me. I am concerned I may have a slightly pinched fuel line and am in the process of correcting this.

Any other advice??

Thanks in Advance

Graham

Default RE: 2 Stroke (4 Cycling)

That is the best term for it! The engine is fuel rich, and so it is only firing on every other stroke, just like a four stroke engine.
